Hello!

My passion for photography started ten years ago in a high-school classroom, and despite the odds has persisted ever since. As I fell in love with creating pictures and developed my style, I decided this extra-curricular was something I dreamed of turning into a full-time career.  I was always artistically inclined, (hence the ceramic pot to the right) but something about photography just clicked for me and the camera became my medium.

I continued my studies at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I fully committed to photography and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in 2024. In 2025 I moved to Chicago on a whim and currently reside here on the North side.

My philosophy with photography is always to go beyond the baseline of capturing a moment. My favorite photographs are the ones where the final result is greater than the moment itself, and when the finished work takes me somewhere unexpected. I am meticulous about my post-production work and will go to any length to create an image that brings the vision to life. I am especially interested in portraiture and the power of emotion in a photograph that can resonate just through a face. I believe that photography is a form of connection between people that illustrates the human experience and I feel grateful anytime I have the chance to capture that.
